Priority Care Group - Company History

Priority Care Group has been established since 1987. We provide high quality individualised care for both adults with learning disabilities and older people in Residential & Nursing homes.

SVQ Assessment Centre

Priority Care introduced SVQ Awards for care staff in 1993 and now operate a very well established Assessment Centre, known as Priority First Training Ltd which offers training and qualifications to all grades of care staff. This means SVQ training is readily available to all employees.

Awarded Investors in People

In 1994, Priority Care Group continued to develop its commitment to high quality by expanding staff training and in return achieved the Investors In People Award. Priority Care Group was the first residential care provider in Scotland to achieve recognition in this national standard and the first in Europe to achieve both IIP and ISO.

Awarded ISO 9000 (BS 5750)

Priority Care Group received accreditation for ISO 9000 and was the first provider of residential care for adults with learning disabilities to achieve this award in Europe.

Awarded Healthmark

Harestane Nursing Home achieved this benchmark award in addition to ISO and IIP which demonstrates that they are consistently providing high standards in healthcare.
